Paradise Hockey Club and Jawaddi Hockey Team were declared Joint-Champions after the final match ended in a goal-less draw and both teams remained equal in penalty strokes after twelve stokes each. The Second Annual Fatima-Shah Muhammad Memorial Hockey Tournament was organized by Paradise Hockey Club and Rotary Club of Lahore Garrison at village Chak 73/RB Karianwala, Faisalabad. "Make Pakistan Polio Free / End Polio Now” was theme of the tournament." 22 teams participated in the event. Earlier, Paradise Hockey Club won the first semi final against Dosanja by 5-0. Jawaddi won the second semi final against Bhaiwala by 2-1. Jawaddi team received the trophy and Rs. 15,000 cash while Paradise Hockey team received the trophy and Rs. 10,000 cash. Muhammad Javaid from Jawaddi team was declared Man of the Match and Zahid Amin from Paradise Hockey Club was declared Man of the Tournament. Polio Awareness Wall Clocks were presented to all participating teams. Polio t-shirts, caps and other gift items were presented to all players of both teams in the final.
Lt Gen Ch Sardar Ali, Col Nawab Ali, Rotary International’s District Governor Anthony Richards and Mian Imran Afzal were the chief guests at the Final match. Past District Governor Muhammad Ashraf Baig and Rotarians Abdul Haleem, Iqbal Malik, Mubasher Butt, Waseem Aslam, Maqsood Ahmed and Arshed Shakir participated in the event along with a large number of village elders and notables. A large number of audience were present at the match to cheer both teams. Patron-in-Chief and Past District Governor Shehzad Ahmed and Paradise Coordinator Naeem Aslam organized the tournament.
